Formula D VEGAS top 32

very exciting, very hot, very strange... the reason i say strange is the most of the top drivers didn't even make great 8, which made for a very exciting top 4 with rookie Aurimas Bakchis taking out some of FD seasoned drivers. even though he ended up fourth, still a stellar performance from a rookie. It ended up being Mad Skills Millen taking 1st, D Mac taking 2nd, and matty cakes taking 3rd. big congrats to matt powers for taking third and qualifying 1st. he is doing so well this year, that i make me think i should have put a V8 in my car and get some Driftworks knuckles. LOL but seriously he is killing it. i was also good to see Rhys at the top of the podium he is such a great drive but tends to have some bad luck sometimes. lets not for get about D mac, and his triple digit entrys he had some of the fastest entry speeds at 103.7 MPH.Kyle mohan  took it hard into the tire wall after a freak brake failure sent him sideways into the wall at 90+ MPH. joon maeng also hit the wall not as bad but making him unable to go on.

had a great time, met some new people. next time your out there and you see us, come say hi. we will kick you down a sticker.

Formula D Vegas... friday

today was a great day.First our buddy joey qualified 6th in the Pro/Am, which is a spectacular feat in itself considering he totaled his car in the last Vegas drift Pro/Am a few weeks back, he was able to get a whole new shell and completely swap everything over and get all the bugs worked out of his car, and make it to u drift a few nights to relearn how the new car runs. then two days later is is qualifiying in Vegas drifts Pro/Am round 4 at Formula D Vegas, and we wish him all the best for Saturdays finals. Second, Powers qualified first. and it rained and cooled off for about 30 mins.some not so good news... walker wilkerson was not able to even qualify due to getting a zero on his first run, then while at the line for his second run his clutch pedal BROKE. so he was not able to make a second run. this is for going to hurt his chances to get rookie of the year.

as we get closer to long beach more and more info is being leaked out about everyones car. since this year there have ben so many changes, people going to v8's people going to 4 cylinders. new chassis. etc...  we try to post up as much as we can. we will also be at long beach for round 1, i hear that rain is in the forecast foe friday. if thats true it will make for a great qualifying. we will keep you updated as much as possible, and as always we will have tons of pictures. so stay tuned. this weekend if you not gonna be at long beach.
