Track Daze!

In December ever purchased an NSX! since then he has been turning it into an even more impressive car than Honda designed. This weekend was its inaugural track day event, and It was also another momentous weekend because Patrick debuted his freshly K swapped civic. While patrick had encounterd a few small glitches with his tune, and a bad TPS. Ever's car performed flawlessly without even a minor hiccup. While the two of them were out on track enjoying their cars i was behind the lens trying to resurect FUNCTIONTHEORY.COM. This event was put on by the LVRPCA Las Vegas Region Porsche Club of America, and took place a spring mountain motorsports race track in Pahrump NV. Ever wasn't the only one with a mid engined super car, as you can see in the pictures below there was definitely some people with money out there.

SEMA...pt3

Well today ended up being hell, i was sooo tired and sore from walking all over the place Monday and Tuesday. I heard that it was a total of 2,000,000 square feet of automobiles, and auto related tools and products. today also seemed to be the busiest day. With over 145,000 people the were estimated to show up, it felt like they were all there today. It was nearly impossible to get pictures because there always seemed to be someone right in the way, or running into me.i still plan to make it back the next two days just for a few hours each day since my real job will keep me from spending 10 hours a day at SEMA. i still managed to take over 200 pictures, some are repeats from past days but only because i felt it was worth more pictures. please take the time to go through all the pictures on FLICKR there is many many sick ass cars that dont make it to the top 5-7 pictures that i post on the blog.

Tuesday

SEMA...pt2

Got there at 8am left at 6pm. my legs are soooo tired, but im not even half way through. seen a ton of cool cars. my favorites for the day would have to be, of course the Pandora one, isis V8 genesis, HFP 2012 track civic, and BISI's 1004 WHP civic. why dont you be the judge and see what your favorite of the day was. check out all 300 pictures that we took today. off to bed to rise early and start another 10 hour day of walking around looking at the most prestigious there is to offer right now. i wouldn't trade it for anything.

SEMA... pt1

Well as usual i waited till the last minute to pick up passes at registration. But it turned out to be good since i was able to walk around and snap some spy shots before there was too many people. This is also a functiontheory first, as this is the first time we were recognized by SEMA as a media business, thus granting us OFFICIAL passes to SEMA. not like other passes we have gotten in the past. so here is my adventure from today it mainly is the outside front area, and then the central hall. i will be going to SEMA for the next three days. so look forward to new photos every night.

BOA!!!!!

The shit that this guy can do is just BOA... If you don't know about BOA it stands for Bey-Ond Awesome. Lol it's an inside thing. But it's what we say when something is fantastically friking amazing above all other standards super dope Hella cool. Anyway he is a genius we love the fact that everything is designed to be functional he builds it to actually work and serve a purpose. Go figure. Ha

Fatlace tv: RAUH- Welt BEGRIFF : Nakai San

We spent two days living and breathing RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF from morning to midnight. Nakai-San from RWB creates some of the most unique Porsches in the world, this film captures the heart and soul of RWB, a Japanese based workshop that has been in business for 15 years.

A unique style will always cause divided opinions but no matter your preference the passion and dedication that Nakai-san has for his work can not be ignored.

SLAMMED SOCIETY CAR SHOW long beach 2011

there is always a car show of some sort at the formula d events. this one had the slammed society put on by fatlace. very cool car show. it has its mix of VIP, slammed, HF, race, hardparkers... we know that all of the them are not functional. but none the less you get to enjoy some well put together cars that look good, and some even preform well too. below is 5 of our favorite cars. along with a link to my flickr with almost 100 other photos.
