GROCERY GETTER UPDATE.
It finnaly got its hood in the mail today. and its all ready to get license plates on monday

S2K build
This is going to be a time line build of my best friends brother's S2K he just bought 2 weeks ago.
the car is a 2001 ap1 it has just 100k miles on it and he got a good deal on it. the car came with the black wheels he is soon to replace them but other then that the car is stock.
so on to the first portion of the build.

FUNCTION CERTIFIED
Check out Joel mondragon's 350z drift car, we saw him in action this last week at vegas drift round 1 pro am. he from arizona but always makes it up to vegas for drift events.

VEGAS DRIFT PROAM 1st round
Great day of drifting at LVMS, hosted by vegas drift today was the first round of vegas drift pro am. with a large turn out, from people not only from las vegas but arizona, utah,and california. like usual below are 6 photos to tease your senses but as always there are plenty more.

DRIFT COLORS ep.1 ebisu

Luke Huxham of We Are Drift has just released the first of five episodes showcasing Ebisu Circuit as you have never seen it before. It's a well put together and executed look at what the place is all about and after the recent disaster Team Orange and all the people up in Nihonmatsu have been through, a reminder that things are now back to normal and the place is open ready to host this year's Spring Drift Matsuri.

SLAMMED SOCIETY CAR SHOW long beach 2011
there is always a car show of some sort at the formula d events. this one had the slammed society put on by fatlace. very cool car show. it has its mix of VIP, slammed, HF, race, hardparkers... we know that all of the them are not functional. but none the less you get to enjoy some well put together cars that look good, and some even preform well too. below is 5 of our favorite cars. along with a link to my flickr with almost 100 other photos.
this s14 had an LS v8 swap in it. WOW

FORMULA D LONG BEACH... what a ride
WELL to start off by saying YAY for no JR he didnt even make it to the top 32. that was the highlight of my day. then double wowsers for MATT POWERS running smooth and consistent the whole time nailing his line, lead or chasing, and taking second place his first podium ever and team NFS first podium ever. he even out did the very talented Aasbo, who is on his team as well. on friday there was a few wet clouds that flew over and dropped a little water which made for an interesting site. NO ONE could get any traction or to a good drift. pretty funny to see. but it quickly dried and tires were smoking again. the most packed drift event i have ever been to BY FAR, i guess drifting is going to out rank nascar, its almost the same right everyone has V8's. just kidding nascar sucks and drifting will never be like nascar.
this event was definitely one for the under dogs. both rookies from last year matt field and walker wilkerson making it to the top 32, kyle mohan was KILLING IT, JTP even took first. it seems as if there is a new wave of talent coming in. and the old veterans might actually have some competition. and hopefully we wont always see the same top 3 anymore, which adds for much excitement.
well enough rambling on to the pictures, cause lets face it thats the only reason you're here...

as we get closer to long beach more and more info is being leaked out about everyones car. since this year there have ben so many changes, people going to v8's people going to 4 cylinders. new chassis. etc... we try to post up as much as we can. we will also be at long beach for round 1, i hear that rain is in the forecast foe friday. if thats true it will make for a great qualifying. we will keep you updated as much as possible, and as always we will have tons of pictures. so stay tuned. this weekend if you not gonna be at long beach.

check out my friends grocery getter daily driver. nothing fancy just somthing to be reliable and have some fun in. click the picture to read more about it. its just rocking a d16z6 for now somthing we just had laying around the garage. no crazy roll cages, just some strut bars. he still wants to be able to drive people around in it.
