More cage work

                today was a trying day, after putting my seat in to check for head clearance i realized that there was not much. so i had to pretty much start the front half of the cage all over. After already having made the halo bar and A pillar bars, today i had to completely redo them for more head room.  it was a hard start to the day, but i ended up coming out victorious in the end with an all welded in cage minus door bars and A pillar braces ( which i will do tomorrow ). here are the pictures that Ever took today, which includes makin the triangular bars at all four points of the halo bar, dropping the cage through the floor to weld the tops, and pretty much just welding it all up. sorry for not having a more exciting story to tell, but its really pretty obvious what i was doing. Dyno Chart

                 The other night i got a chance to dyno my Rb25 swapped s13. It was a charity at Force Fed racing in Las Vegas, one of there employees lost his girlfriend to cancer. so for 20 bucks you could do one run on their dyno and all donations went to funding a funeral and other bills. no torque numbers just Horsepower.i managed to pull 255 hp, not bad just a bit shy of what i was hoping for. my chart is a little shaky at the top end, one of the guys there said i need a colder spark plug. so i will be switching to a colder plug and hopefully that will help steady it out on he top end.

the ambient temp was 112.7f, it was a 4th gear pull from 35mph to 112mph
cool thing about RB motors or any non 4 cylinder motor is look at how quickly i get power.

i had a great time and im glad that Bobby talked me into going. it was the first time i have ever had any of my cars dynoed and i actually got to drive it while it was on the dyno which was very cool.

EIBACH 2011

Well even rain couldn't ruin the show. although it did burn off and turn into a beautiful day. not too hot like years past. this year there was a much heavier police presence as well. i think is was cool how they made a vendor area in there warehouse. it just gets bigger and bigger each year they are running out off room. cant wait for next years.
