So Yesterday, We hit up a local Vegas drifter in a local crew called "limit Break".
Little did we know this car would amaze us in a way that's as unique as we prefer. Edwin has a text book definition of a Functional built car. It may not be pretty. but its whats on the inside that counts

            The army grows stronger. Thanks to Blake for sending us his amazingly clean, yet uber functional car. We are glad to see that he put his money into where it counts, the MOTOR!!!  Not only did he slap a super charger on it. but he also replaced each cruicial weak link that would fail with all the extra hp, larger injectors, walbro fuel pump, stage 4 clutch, and upgraded brakes to help slow it down. the car is done very well. Blakes car has been dyno tuned and is making 277 WHP, and 188 LB/tq.

FUNCTION CERTIFIED

                A few weeks back we were able to hook up with a super cool dude, Danny George. It was a huge opportunity for us here at FUNCTIONTHEORY.COM to help with launching our Local grass roots Features. Danny is a very talented drifter who frequents the podium. He came screaming on to the local drift seen here in Vegas 2 years ago, taking first place in his first ever pro am event. he pretty much shocked everyone, especially since he did it in a MIATA! fast forward to now and he has crashed his original miata then quickly built a new lighter, faster, stronger miata up. it is built to FD rules, since he does have a FD license, that he received last year at Irwindale.  he will also be competing in every FD event next season, so be on the look out for this guy. Danny is going to be making a splash next year. you wont miss him with his bright orange miata.

we recently recieved an email from Abe, a fellow functiontheoryist containing some great pictures of his build. showcasing his 3+ year civic build, on which 100% of the work was done by him, paint, body, suspension, engine...he sent in 25+ photos of the whole timeline of his build. we new instantly that his car was FUNCTION CERTIFIED. just by reading his specs list, then when we saw the pictures it just drove the nail into the coffin. This is strictly a teaser as his car is only about 95 percent done. he is just in need of glass, and a few other minor things. so we decided to post only one picture of the car from one point of his build and list all of his specs. so you can let your mind wonder on how amazing his car is. his car is set up for track/auto x. and there will be a full feature of his car to follow once it is done, which wont be long.

Check out Vann's super clean, and functional car. he has put together the correct recipe for this car. not just slapping parts together to make it work. he actually matted the correct gsr tranny to a b20 thats the first i have seen. most people just assume that the b16 tranny is better since its shorter, a very comon mistake. or people just try to get the cheap ass ls tranny. any how... solid car with a solid parts list. what more could you ask for... well maybe some wheels and a vtec head lol... no worries he has got that coming up next. we will update when he gets it done. but for now please enjoy his beautiful car.
