FUNCTIONTHEORY: 3 months 20k views....and we are not slowing down.

WOW what a ride the last three months has been, when we set out to make this blog we had no idea that it would take off like this. we are just a couple of guys that love cars, building them, racing them, going to meets, events, shows, pretty much anything car culture. the goal of this blog was to make a central HUB of informative links so there would always be a place for you to go when you are working on your own car, or maybe the how tos would encourage you to start working on your own car and get the pleasure out of building it yourself and driving/racing/drifting it your self and feel good about being a REAL MAN and not having a shop do your work. but the blog has exploded into more then just that, we try to bring you a wide array of event coverage, and post up interesting or cool videos. we search the internet night and day to bring you current news or events happening with in the scene. we have brought you coverage from, SEMA, the last three formula d stops, and local events.

we have rolled out our CERTIFIED car program, which can be explained by clicking the tab at the top of the page that says how to get your certified sticker. basically it invites the true car enthusiast/do it your selfer to submit there car to us to get approved based on functionality of your car,.not on how big your wallet is... lets face it, its easy to just throw a bunch of money at something to make it look cool and have all the cool buzz words, but that doesn't mean it is functional. we want to see real daily driven, drifted, tracked, dragged, cars. how ever if you did throw a bunch of money at it and made it functional and you use it thats awsome and we would love to see i too. When it comes down to it we are just REAL GUYS with REAL CARS. that we use and abuse, we dont have endless funds, and we know most of you dont either. we are just looking for the true enthusiast at heart. pretty much if you use your car we would love to certify it, anyone from the grassroots racer to the high dollar sponsored team.

so all in all we are very please with where this site is going. you have to understand and bare with us, since we are just regular guys we do have normal jobs that we work at 40 hours a week that have nothing to do with the automotive industry. it is very hard for us just two little guys to make it everywhere all the time and have the money to get there.for example when we went to formula d in sonoma we had to sleep in a car cause we could only afford tickets to get in the event and gas to get there and back from las vegas... we cannot provide the the amount of insane coverage that other sites do, at least not now the bigger we get the easier it will be and more connections we will have. as of right now we have no industry connections, we dont get special passes, we dont get any kick downs, or freebies. every event we go to we have to wait in line just like everyone one else... we do not make money on anything we do here, not yet anyway. we plan on getting MERCH made eventually but its just our own money that we put in... we are not making excuses we just want everyone to bare with us and understand that we really do this whole thing from our hearts and becasue we love cars and fixing them up. we want to provide everyone with the information that they need to fix up there own cars.

So we just want to THANK ALL of our loyal fans, who truly believe in us and feel the same way about cars as we do... EVERYDAY we try our very best to post up entertaining, informative, cool, popular,news and pictures that you can enjoy, it is a challenge but we do it cause we love it. we just ask that you are spreading the word about FUNCTINOTHEORY.COM letting everyone you know about us, if you need a sticker to put on your car email us functiontheory.com@gmail.com please dont ask for another if you have already gotten one stickers are expensive... if you think your car might be worthy of a certified sticker submit it to us, we are not going to bag on your car we know that everyone has to start somewhere... the more buzz we create the bigger we are going to be.
