Vegasdrift 22 T&T

Yesterday was the first event i have ever done, and i could not have been more happy. My car performed flawlessly and so did Evers with exception of his fan ground wire coming lose, but after a quick fix he was back on the track. Ever and i have Ben long time supporters of Vegasdrift and Ever has even entered a few events years ago before he started deconstructing his car for the last 3-4 years. We are usually at every event weather or not we are driving. we are out to support the grass root drifters and the Vegasdrift sanctioning body. This event was in jeopardy of being cancelled due to lack of people signing up, when i heard about that i sent out cries all over the social networks to try and get people to sign up. i just don't understand how you wouldn't like to pay some money to drift all day from 9-5 with out any care in the world, no tickets, big wide open area so its harder to crash, and all the free advice you can get from people with YEARS of knowledge. not to mention that everybody on the Vegasdrift staff are so nice and helpful and the really want to help the grass roots drifter that is aspiring to make it to pro level. Nick (the man responsible Vegas drift) is trying very hard to get these events together and help support our sport of drifting. But with the lack of people turning out for these events its almost not even worth it for the amount of work it takes to get these events all planned and coordinated. We need more interest in these events, how come when there is a Vegasdrift Meet and greet people come out of the wood works to attend, but then when it comes time to pony up and do an event nobody shows any interest. I guess there are just more internet drifters then there are real drifters. You cant tell me that you do it on the streets everyone knows that one warehouse is a bust, the other one has speed bumps now,  the other one is so tight that you risk running into cement curbs, and im not preaching to keep it off the streets im aware of how drifting started and how fun it is to drift. But where else can you get a full 3rd gear pull to a large sweeping turn where you can actually get experience at high speeds. Lets face it doing donuts in first or second gear in a round about or a parking lot does not qualify you as a drifter, I do that with my Prerunner. These events are the chillest things around people with stock cars are out there, people with slow cars are out there, people that have NEVER drifted or even done donuts are out there. Please don't let these events DIE show you support for Vegasdrift and grass roots drifting, DONT BE SCARED, SHY, or EMBARRASSED. plan ahead start saving 5 bux a day. i guarantee you that you will have so much fun. the next event is Sunday November 18th start saving. oh and you can say you need tires, ever went through 1 1/2 sets of tires. now that's 2 federals and 2 more that he still has enough life on to do about 7-10 passes at the next event i went through 2 1/2 sets but only due to tire pressure issues, but i go it figured out and next event i should only need four tires. ever uses federal 595 tires and i tried out the Achilles 2233 both of those tires are pretty cheap about 75 a tire for the federals about 65 a tire for the Achilles

Now on to the actual event, i usually am behind the scenes taking pictures for the blog. but this time i didn't take any pictures and i only did one go pro video. there was just no down time it was drift drift drift all day. so below are only my one video and a video from TRACKDAY.NET  that features Evers car,and a couple pictures i took with my phone. sorry. but that all i got.
